Corrections especially. If a specification does not match the listing or a price looks wrong, we would rather hear it from you than leave it up.

Email: info@winterperch.com. Or use the form below — it goes to the same place.

Things worth writing about

  • A correction. A specification that does not match the manufacturer’s listing, a computed figure that looks wrong, a claim we have not sourced properly. These get fixed in place with a dated note, per the editorial policy.
  • A price that looks wrong. Prices come from a live data layer and stale ones are supposed to disappear on their own. If one has not, that is a bug.
  • A product we should be covering. Particularly one whose maker actually publishes a wattage, which is rarer in this category than it should be.
  • A discontinued product still recommended here.
  • A recommendation you think is simply bad, with the reason. That is useful and we would rather have it.

Things we cannot help with

  • Orders, shipping and returns. We are not a retailer — we hold no stock, take no payment and ship nothing. Every purchase is between you and the retailer, under their terms. How this site is funded.
  • Injured or orphaned wildlife. Please contact a licensed wildlife rehabilitator or your state wildlife agency. We are not qualified and we will not pretend otherwise.
  • Bird identification from a description. The Cornell Lab’s All About Birds guide and the Merlin app are free, excellent, and much better at this than we are.
  • Guest posts, link exchanges and sponsored content. We do not publish any of these and the answer will not change.

We read everything. Replies to anything that needs one usually take a couple of days. Winter Perch is a publisher, not a business with premises, so there is no phone number and no postal address to give you — the email above is the whole thing.
